Welcome to Saint Stephen's Hymn School!

Welcome to the first semester of St. Stephen's Hymns School. We will be learning how to read Coptic and sing many of the annual hymns sung during the Liturgy, plus some that are sung on special occasions.

Important Rules and Guidelines:

  • Attend every week and be on time
  • Listen and participate
  • Listen to the Hymns CD at least 5x during the week
  • Practice the alphabet so you may be able to read Coptic fluently later
  • Respect the Church, the Hymns, your teachers, and your classmates. Good behavior is expected from everyone.
  • At the end of every month, those who have followed all the rules EVERY WEEK will receive a gift from their teacher.
